May 8th I Spectator Areas

SS4/10 — Mortágua

Schedule- SS4 at 7:35am | SS10 at 03:45pm

Repeating the 2025 route, Mortágua's route has been revamped and now ends closer to the town that gives his name to the stage. The challenge will be a selective route with impeccable, fast surfaces alongside the eucalyptus trees that are so characteristic of this region. The passage through the Mortágua Arena (ZE2) promises unforgettable moments.

SS5/7 — Arganil

Schedule- SS5 at 8:55am I SS7 at 12:30pm

Intense, varied in pace and rhythm, a place where excitement and imminent danger go hand in hand down the slopes of the Serra do Açor. Although current safety standards require the installation of safety rails on the most vertiginous sections, this stage, which this year features the long version and will be used in reversed way, will not allow us to overlook the fact that a small mistake could prove fatal to the ambitions of riders and teams.

SS6/9 — Lousã

Schedule - SS6 at 10:13am I SS9 at 2:08pm

With the route revised in 2026 following the 2025 forest fires, the Lousã stage is essentially the former Candosa stage that formed part of the rally route last time in 1996. A wide road, almost always at the same altitude and with a hard surface, the Lousã stage promises thrills throughout its 7-kilometre route.

Best time: For reference, the fastest time for a 200m shorter version was set by Walter Rohrl (Audi Quattro Sport) and Hannu Mikkola (Audi Quattro A2) at 4:39.

SS8 — Góis

Schedule - SS8 at 1:25pm

The Góis section, which is going to be used once this year, appears in reversed way on this year’s route. The demands of the fast-paced route will leave no room for error or for taking in the stunning scenery atop the Góis ridges, and as the route is run in reverse, it presents new challenges for all competitors.
