The Vodafone Rally de Portugal has just been awarded the Gold Level in the Sustainable Circuits IndexTM 2025 (SCITM), in the category of temporary circuits. The Automóvel Club de Portugal event is one of only eight in the world to receive this distinction.
SCITM is an industry benchmark that rates the sustainability initiatives of 117 permanent and temporary motorsport circuits worldwide. The circuits are assessed on the basis of 21 specific criteria, spread across seven sustainability categories.
Data collection and analysis for SCITM was carried out by Enovation Consulting between 1 January and 31 December 2024. Enovation Consulting is a consultancy specialising in sustainability and strategic management, which certifies and assesses multiple motorsport entities, including more than 40 international sports federations, championships, teams, manufacturers, suppliers and events.
This international recognition in the Sustainable Circuits IndexTM comes on top of the International Automobile Federation's 3-Star Environmental Accreditation, placing the Vodafone Rally de Portugal as one of the most sustainable temporary motorsport circuits in the world.
